Today Investors Associated has over 100 Partners and owns more than 24 properties in 6 states, totaling over $300 million in assets. Investors Associated is a unique investment because it is managed by fellow Partners whose interests are aligned with your interests. Both the Executive Committee and senior management are composed primarily of Partners. Our managing members are not compensated through personally motivated fees like developer’s fees, acquisition fees, or refinancing fees. As a result, decisions made by the Executive Committee are made with all the Partners’ best interests in mind.

Our in-house property management company, IA Management, makes sure our investments are protected with well-maintained properties and high-quality service that exceeds the expectations of our tenants.

Clyde M. Chumbley, MD

Clyde M. Chumbley, MD - Chairman
Dr. Chumbley has been a member of the Executive Committee since 1995. He has over 25 years of executive and management experience in complex multi-specialty medical groups and integrated healthcare delivery systems. He has an MD from the University of Missouri—Columbia and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. Dr. Chumbley is the CEO of the Wisconsin Medical Society and serves in numerous professional organizations and business groups.
Brian G. Carroll, JD

Mr. Carroll has been a member of the Executive Committee since June of 2015. He is a shareholder in the law firm Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren and has more than 30 years of experience advising clients on real estate matters, transactions and financing, as well as business law matters. Mr. Carroll has a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University and a JD from Marquette University Law School.
Karl J. Bertram, MD

Dr. Bertram has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2001. He is a General Surgeon at the Fond du Lac Regional Clinic – Agnesian Healthcare. Dr. Bertram has an MD from the College of Medicine, University of Cincinnati, Ohio. He also serves as a Volunteer Instructor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at Marquette University and is a member on other community boards.
Robert Brodish, MD

Dr. Brodish has been a member of the Executive Committee since 1997. He is presently a staff physician at Froedtert Hospital and the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Dr. Brodish received his MD from the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and serves in numerous professional organizations and business groups.
Mary Kowarick

Mary Kowarick - Executive Committee Member
Ms. Kowarick joined Investors Associated in 2018 with 30 years combined experience in foreign exchange, capital markets, private banking and family office advisory. She is currently a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. She received her bachelor’s degree from Marquette University and completed a General Management Program at Harvard Business School. Ms. Kowarick serves on the Marquette University College of Business Administration Leadership Council.
Richard H. Bibler

Dr. Bibler is a founding member and has been providing 50-plus years of leadership and guidance. He retired from the committee in 2017 and is currently the Chairman Emeritus of the Executive Committee of the Partnership. Dr. Bibler is a retired physician. He has his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and MD from Indiana University School of Medicine.

Mr. Schutte has over 45 years in the real estate industry as a contractor, developer and owner of commercial real estate. Since 2010, he has served as COO for Investors Associated, LLP, and has overseen the acquisition, management and disposition of more than $450,000,000 worth of property. In 2016, Mr. Schutte took on the role of President and Managing Partner of the Partnership and has established a team that handles the management of the Partnership and the maintenance and leasing of all our properties across six states.
Patrick F. Carroll, JD

Mr. Carroll has served as General Counsel for Investors Associated since 2016. His role involves identifying and overseeing legal issues in the management of the Partnership’s assets and developments. Mr. Carroll also assists the President and Managing Partner with the management of the real estate portfolio and development process, including acquisition of assets, lease management and design and value engineering. He has a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing from Marquette University as well as a JD from Marquette University Law School.
Jamie M. Stefan, MBA

Jamie Stefan began working with Investors Associated on a part-time basis and since has grown into a full-time position managing Investor Relations and Operations for Investors Associated, LLP. Jamie is responsible for Investor Relations, IT and the marketing functions of the Partnership. Previously, Jamie also coordinated accounting functions between IA Management, Investors Associated, LLP and the Partnership’s outside accounting firm as well as the property management of the Partnership’s single tenant properties. Jamie also coordinates the secretarial duties for the Executive Committee. Prior to Investors Associated, Jamie worked as a paralegal for 12 years managing executive level attorney portfolios at several large Milwaukee based firms. Jamie has her BS from Marquette University and recently completed her MBA at Carroll University.
Lynette Eickhoff, CPA

Ms. Eickhoff joined IA Management in 2016 as Chief Financial Officer and, with her expanding duties, she became Controller of Investors Associated in 2019. She received her bachelor’s degree in accounting and management from Lakeland College. After earning her CPA, she worked in public accounting for more than 15 years. Ms. Eickhoff currently serves on the Glacial Drumlin United Soccer Club and Xplozion Fastpitch boards.

Ms. Govin brings her knowledge and experience of legal matters and all areas of property development and management to IA Management, which she joined in 2016. She received both her bachelor’s and law degree from the University of Wisconsin—Madison. She also holds a State of Wisconsin Real Estate Broker’s license.

Ben Hurd has over 28 years of commercial real estate experience. Ben spent his first three years in real estate research to get his bearings and has been in commercial brokerage ever since. Most of his work has been focused on landlord representation, along with acquisition and disposition of owned assets. Ben has represented numerous tenants. Ben is truly relationship driven, always looking to find a beneficial solution for both Landlord and Tenant. He is personal, practical, and passionate about his job. His wide skill set, attention to detail and his high level of service has led to his continued success over his 25-year brokerage career. Ben holds a WI Real Estate Brokerage License, and a real estate salesperson’s license in Maryland and Virginia.

Ronald “Ron” Schwoerer has over 20 years experience in facilities management and mechanical operations, as well as six years of experience as a site operations manager. Ron is accomplished in customer relations, staff training and development, management of contractors/projects, crisis management, safety coordination and process improvement.
